GenePlanet, a biotech company with a business presence in more than 30 countries across the globe, is organizing its first hackathon in partnership with Zavarovalnica Sava. The International GeneHack Day will take place at Technology Park in Ljubljana on December 15th and expects to engage more than 60 participants from the areas of Bioinformatics, Development, Sales, Marketing and UX/UI. The event is suitable for professionals with years of experience and newly-graduated.
According to the organizers, the selection process will be quite challenging: in the first phase, the candidates will have to convince the organizers with their CV and motivation letter in the online application form. The pre-selected candidates will then be encouraged to do a task a few days before the event in order to guarantee their spot in one of the 10 teams. Only the best candidates will actually be part of the GeneHack – a day full of learning, innovative challenges, creativity and team spirit!
The GeneHack Day will offer a unique opportunity to the participants to spend the day with GenePlanet employees, work together in one of the 10 different teams and prove to the management throughout the day that they are exactly what the company is searching for. “GeneHack will be an exceptional event, filled with new people, innovative ideas and intense teamwork, being also a turning point in the participants’ career”, says Marko Bitenc, CEO of GenePlanet.
